Final Score: Eagles 69 – 55 Abbey N.C (W)
Eagles 1 travelled away this morning to Oxford to face off against Abbey. They are 3rd in the league table so we knew this was going to be a tightly contested match.
Melinda from the Eagles U14 was lucky enough to see Wasps vs Surrey Storm live and bumped into our very own Sophia. @sophiacandappa
It was great to see Sophia Candappa @sophiacandappa & Amber Frobisher playing together this morning for Eagles 1.
Final Score: Eagles 40 – 7 Newbury. (W)
Eagles started strongly with immediate intercept from Newbury’s centre and we’re off the blocks; Kiera, Helena and Dane were a solid wall at the back not allowing Newbury into the D until well into the quarter whilst Marta linked up brilliantly with the two Charlottes and Annabel scoring almost every shot. Newbury’s GS is the main danger and she does manage to score twice from her only 2 shots. 12-2 at the end of Q1.

Final Score: Eagles 14 - 61 Weston Park Blades (L)
On Saturday, we played Weston Park Blades in the south region tournament. We travelled down to a very nice setting in rural Hampshire. Our last game ended in a hard fought draw, so we thought Weston would come out hard to justify their current high position in the league.
Final Score: Eagles 28 v 37 Clan (L)
We all came into this game positive, not so much that we would win but that we would put up a good fight. In the first quarter, it was a bit sloppy, we weren’t working very well together and a lot of silly mistakes were made. This led to Clan starting off ahead with a score of 8-4 to them.
This half term Eagles will be running a netball training camp for children in years 3-7 and for all abilities. Training will be provided by our highly qualified and experienced coaching staff ably assisted by some of our Eagles/England Pathway netball players.

Final Score: Eagles 43 v 28 CN Select (W)
Our South Region U19 development match versus CN Select started off as a tough battle with many interceptions being made by both teams. The first quarter started off well for Eagles scoring from the first 3 centre passes. From there, the team kept up the work rate and finished the first quarter winning 10-8.
