Today a mix of u15’s and u16’s played in the u19 regional league against Woodley at Woodford sports Park. In the first quarter we started off slowly taking a while to get into our stride but when we did the ball travelled down court well, with good play all around and accurate shooting in the circle.
We saw a few changes going into the second half but these didn’t affect us and with lots of interceptions being converted into goals we managed to win the first half 30-18.
Going into the second half, we continued to use our structure all down court and some lovely play followed through along with some amazing feeds into the circle managed to win us the game 60-31.
Every single player fought till the final whistle as did Woodley and it was a great game. Special well done to Chloe who was the player of the match and a massive thank you to Abi for coming to play with us on short notice as a few of our players were ill/injured.
