Eagles U16 team has won the National Club Finals in Nottingham this weekend. This is a major achievement for the club and the first time that Eagles has taken the Gold at the National Finals.

Eagles started the first day with resounding wins over TTNC Warriors and Herts Dynamos, followed by wins over Sheffield Steel and Grangetown. This ensured that Eagles would be playing for a top 6 place on Sunday.

Wins against Bramhall Netball Club and AP Saints meant that Eagles had made the final against Kingsway Power. Despite going behind in the first quarter, Eagles rallied and were ahead at half time and never looked back, winning by 27-23, sparking joyous scenes at the final whistle.

Eagles Head Coach Maria D’Amaro said: “It was an awesome performance from a highly committed talented group”.
