Final Score: Eagles 71 v 36 Meon (W)
Having had the beast from the East to contend with over the last few days affecting training and everyday living, Eagles 2 were able to head to Portsmouth through the big thaw.
Final Score: Eagles 59 v 42 Clan (W)
The squad travelled to High Wycombe for a relatively local derby with Clan Netball Club. The team knew it was going to be a highly contested game given we had only narrowly snatched victory in the reverse fixture (47-45).
Final Score: Eagles 40 v Brize Jets 46 (L)
The girls started out really strongly in the first quarter against an extremely experienced and physical team. Eagles matched them for speed and skill and the shooters were clinical despite extremely close attention from a very tall defence.
Final Score: Eagles 51 v Meon 47 (W)
After a comfortable win in the previous game, the pressure was on Eagles 2 to pull off another victory. Today’s game proved to be an arduous experience.
From the very beginning, Eagles had to work hard to shut down their opponents, Meon. Eagles ended the first quarter four goals ahead but knew they had much more to do.
Eagles welcomes new players, you can simply turn up and play, but be prepared to work hard!
