Final Score: Eagles 44 v 20 MK Netters (W)
The first match of the year with the U13 Development Squad, and what a match it was! We were all very excited for this match but unfortunately, not everyone could make it, due to injuries/illnesses.
Well done to our Eagles Phoenix and Jemma - at Mini Mavs and Young Mavs 17 respectively.

Final Score: Eagles 34 v 24 Swan (W)
Eagles U13 travelled to Southampton for their very long awaited second fixture against Swan.
The hosts warmly welcomed the 7 Eagles players who had very sadly lost their 8th squad member Anna that morning having lost (literally) her finger in the front door leaving home for the match.
Final Score: Eagles 62 v Dreams 54 (W)
Going into this game sitting top of the table, we knew our game against Dreams, second in the table, was going to be tough and it didn’t disappoint. They came out hard and fast, and we started the game trailing 3 goals behind. But with an early change, we settled in and had time to counter-attack finishing the first quarter one goal up (14-13).
Final Score: Eagles 51 v Meon 47 (W)
After a comfortable win in the previous game, the pressure was on Eagles 2 to pull off another victory. Today’s game proved to be an arduous experience.
From the very beginning, Eagles had to work hard to shut down their opponents, Meon. Eagles ended the first quarter four goals ahead but knew they had much more to do.
Final Score: Eagles 61 v Sussex Storm 48 (W)
The penultimate game before Christmas break saw Eagles 1 take on last season’s league winners Sussex Storm. Eagles started strongly with the defensive unit turning over numerous balls allowing Eagles to take a 7-2 lead. The game settled and both teams started to score off their own centre passes taking the quarter time score to 15-12 to Eagles.
Final Score: Eagles 33 v CD Phoenix 40 (L)
We travelled a long way to our 6th match of the season against CD Phoenix. We knew this was going to be tough so we went in fighting hard.
The first quarter was close, we turned the ball over and got it quickly to goal. Both teams came out positive and we finished the quarter 10-8 to CD Phoenix.
