Message from the Eagles Committee

We are really sad that we can’t play or train together at the moment and we are really looking forward to celebrating the successful season all together as soon as we are able too.

At the time of writing, the Butlins tournament has not been cancelled yet but we are expecting it to be and we will be in touch as soon as we have more information.

In the meantime our coaches will be in contact with players with some training ideas to help players stay fit and keep practising their netball skills.

We hope everyone stays safe and well.

U12 Eagles 41 - 32 Royals

A great game of netball today with both teams playing excellent netball. The first quarter was fast and furious, Eagles pulled ahead and the quarter ended 16-7. A steady second quarter continued in the same vain and the score at half time was 25-14 to Eagles. A slightly unsettled third quarter saw Royals pull right back and the score ended 32 - 26 with Eagles still ahead - just! The final quarter was nail biting stuff and the final result saw Eagles win 41-32.

Well done - Tamara, Isobel, Annabel, Eloise, Sienna, Isla, Tilly and Imogen

Eagles 50 - 5 Newbury

A great team effort form all the girls in the U12 on Sunday against Newbury. Eagles made a good start with some fast mid court work from Eva, Isla, Sienna, Annabel and Isobel. Excellent shooting from Imogen resulted in a 15 - 1 lead at the end of the quarter. The second quarter saw a change of players with Rhiannon in mid court and Olivia as GS, the excellent team work continued in this quarter with some good interceptions by Tamara as GK and the quarter ended with Eagles still ahead. The third and fourth quarters saw players again changing positions and working well in all areas of the court. The final score was 50 - 5.
