Final Score: Eagles 79 v CD Phoenix 17 (W)

On Saturday the 16th September the U16s had their first match of the season in the South Region league, at home against CD Phoenix.

After a strong start, we were up 17-3 at the end of the first quarter. The high intensity continued and, thanks to lots of turn overs, at half time we had extended the lead to 36-8.

The great attacking and defensive play all round, and the fantastic support, continued into the second half, the final score was 79-17.

It was an excellent squad performance, special congratulations to Summer for being awarded player of the match.
