Final Score Eagles 46 : 38 MK Dons

On the 6th April Eagles U16s played our last regional match against MK Dons.

We knew this was going to be one of the toughest games this season and nerves and adrenaline were high going in as this match was such an important one for us as if we won, we went to nationals, if we lost or drew we didn’t!

MK Dons started off strong in Q1 but with some brilliant resilience and shooting, Eagles pulled it back to end the first quarter winning 12-9.
Q2 was just as intense but with some amazing playing from all ends of the court, we pulled away to end the quarter 26-17.
Eagles stayed strong throughout Q3, with some fabulous interceptions and attacking to end the quarter 38-27.

Q4 was very toughly contested with both teams fighting until the very end but Eagles kept pushing to win the game 46-38 securing our place at nationals at the beginning of May!

Well done to MK Dons for an amazing game and congratulations on qualifying for nationals!
