Final Score Eagles 39 : 52 Woodley

Very tight opening first quarter, with both sides matching each other goal for goal. NO time required to settle into the game and both sides came out fighting with a flawless quarter from both attack and defence . Ending in 12-11 to Eagles.

Second quarter was very much the same. With a few small tweaks to Eagles side the battle continued. The attack had strong movement and good drives onto the ball, they were confident and sleek against a strong defence. Defence were strong, moving around and confusing the space not giving their attack a chance to set up. Giving half time score of 25-24 Eagles.

Third quarter saw some unforced errors for Eagles which allowed the score to slip to 32-39 Woodley.
Eagles could not pull the score line back and a strong Woodley team seemed to charge ahead. A disappointing final score of 39:52 as last time we played Woodley we won by 5 goals.

A well deserved player of the match went to Amy.
