Final score Eagles 52 : 26 CD Phoenix

This was an important game for us as the last time we played CD Phoenix we won by just four goals. We knew that it was going to be a tough one and that we had to go in strong and determined from the beginning.

In the first quarter, we went out hard and everyone was working to the best of their ability. It started off fast and we managed to get the ball down through court quickly. This led to a 16-7 lead.

We kept the pressure on in the second quarter, despite the big and strong defence unit from CD Phoenix. The attack managed to work the ball around the circle, then feed well into the shooters. Great shooting from Abi and Charlotte meant that we had a half-time lead of 30-12.

In the third quarter we were winning 43-18, and the final score was 52-26. Overall, it was a great squad performance with all 12 players getting time on court.

Well done to Charlotte for getting player of the match for her creative play and turning lots of ball over.
