Final Score: Eagles 34  v 58 Rushmoor (L)

We knew that this game against Rushmoor was going to be relatively hard, as we were missing one of our key defenders.  However, we definitely pulled together, throughout the match. The final score was 58 – 34.

In the first quarter we had a slow start, but the defence managed to intercept a lot of balls and the attack gradually got the ball down the court. The score was 15 – 16. We ended the first quarter more positively.

In the second quarter we had to work a lot harder as Rushmoor had managed to score 12 more goals then the last quarter. The score was 33 – 12. The defence started to struggle getting the rebounds, and the attack began to make unnecessary mistakes. This is when we knew we had to close the gap.

In the third quarter we tried to keep the score constant. The score was 48-22. The attack pushed up and worked hard, while the defence made good interceptions whilst securing the ball during the quarter.

In the last quarter we closed the gap and the final score was 58 – 34. The quality in our game had improved which reflected in the score.
